Annie Sloan Chalk Paint- Paris Grey and Old White

For our guest room, I took 3 pieces of furniture that we already owned and gave them the chalk paint treatment.

  • I bought a large dresser while we were stationed at Misawa, Japan in 2001 at a DRMO (Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office) sale for $15.  Sorry..no photo yet.
  • The desk belongs to our son, Bobby, and was purchased when he was 5 years old (he’s now 27) as a gift from his grandparents.
  • The nightstand was built by Mark’s father when Mark was a little boy.  The sock and underwear drawer was shared by Mark and his brother Dennis.  They were pretty rough on it, but Mark’s Dad built a solid piece of furniture.  Enjoy!

Living Room Furniture

LR Furniture- end table after 3

Annie Sloan Chalk PaintFrench Linen and Old White

My friend, Carol, bought new living room tables and donated her old ones to my Mom.  It turned out that my Mom didn’t need them, but I did.  These were tables with “good bones” that Carol and Dan bought when they first got married.  They owned them for 27 years, and those tables went through umpteen military moves, 2 children, and several pets.  I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to give them a new life and now they fit in perfectly with all my English living room furniture.  Enjoy!
