Danielle’s Insulated Lunch Bag

I made Danielle an insulated lunch bag to take to work every day.  The fabric is Urbanicity by Benartex.  I used 4 different prints from the designer’s line on this project, as well as PUL (polyurethane laminate) fabric as a lining.  The PUL fabric is soft and wipes clean when you have a spill.  I sandwiched Insul-Bright (an insulated batting) between the outer fabric and the lining, to help keep hot things hot, and cold things cold.  I made up the pattern for the bag, taking into consideration her spatial needs; e.g.the net pocket on the side is for water bottles/granola bars.  There are a few boo-boos, but overall I’m pleased with how it turned out.  The pictures came out a little messed up, sorry about that.  Enjoy!

Hello and welcome to my digital cookbook and craft log. I like being creative in the kitchen as well as the craft room. Things may not always come out as planned, but that doesn't stop me from trying.
