Orange Streusel Coffeecake

2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, divided
1 cup sugar, divided
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon orange zest (I used orange oil)
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup oil
2 Tablespoons butter

1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt; mix well.  Stir in orange zest (I didn’t have an orange, so I used orange oil).  Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and set aside.

2. In a separate bowl, blend together egg, milk, orange juice, and oil.  Add egg mixture to well in flour mixture. Stir until moistened; batter will be lumpy.

3. Pour batter into a greased 9 inch round cake pan.  In another bowl, mix together butter, remaining flour and remaining sugar with a fork until crumbly; sprinkle evenly over batter.

4. Bake at 375°F. for 30-35 minutes, or until center tests clean with a toothpick.  Cut into wedges.  Serves 8…unless Garfield is eating it.  Enjoy!
